Deep into the ocean and with the lights off the light pollution is almost non-existent.
You can lay down on the open ledge and your field of vision is filled with the night sky meeting the horizon.
The stars are so bright and they reflect off the water like you're in a planetarium -
They say the awe is so pure.
You realise why the North Star has taken men across the oceans for generations as the brightness becomes so clear.
The constellations take their true shape as they pierce the darkness.
I like to look up at the night sky to remind myself how insignificant we are.
Maybe I should get a boat.
