Considering virtually all my relatives on both sides of my family live to 99-105 with no mental issues...and Yes I No a Meteor could fall on me or even a Satellite could come down crashing in2 me 2Morrow.
So death and taxes r a given...I pay my tax's (do all I can to reduce the all legal) And other then having a bunch of life insurance and stuff to leave daughter in my will ...Death is a paper issue only for a bunch of years.
But hell if such comet kills me on my daily 10 mile run or while surfing - I have had one fucking great life n wood be ready to go.

Well a bunch and I do mean a BUNCH of my Satellites are parked in orbit waiting for total decay and dive to earth. With Ocean covering 70% of earth surface odds are high only fish near surface get whacked.

@320,702 (Anti )Currently just over 3000 Satellites in space and NASA tracks 24,500 man made objects in space. Lots of space junk with a committee working on how to clean much of it UP.

Nope. Image is of debris which I have no control over. On the other hand if any of my Satellites turn into debris my ass is cooked.

I could look up but suspect 2278 is a dead duck by now.
This may be shocking but a massive number of Satellites have telemetry that is not encrypted including all of my current birds. Its rather easy to look at it and decode the hex. Not as easy to figure out what the numbers mean but in tyme one can figure out which are voltages temps axis motion rates etc
One of the worst things that did occur - a similar Satellite from Russia failed to work when in orbit. Russia lost control. NASA Russia and NORAD kept its orbit tracked but somehow each agency failed to forecast a collision with Iridium 22 and 5000 bits of the 24,500 bits of debris are from that one single crash.
Some of that came super close recently to the Space Station.
Damn Damn Damn more then one of my Globalstars is on the debris list. Given they are still controllable makes that map not accurate.

Heavens gate. Pull up a map of Cardiff by the Sea and expand it just a tiny bit and Rancho Sante Fe, the gate way for Heavens Gate is just minutes from me.
