I think what happened was last year we had an exchange student and so instead of having my own birthday meal, we celebrated multiple birthdays at my grandparents house. I got a cheesecake sampler that I chose to share with everyone, but the Chinese student eats 2 pieces after he said he doesn't like cheesecake.
