Just yesterday. Lol, I've already got 40 lortabs over 4 days (20 3 days before the procedure when I started some penicillin VK and 20 post) from him just for the wisdom tooth extraction (non surgical, no sutures needed even).

The DDS was really talented. Completely painless and super efficient. If they were all like that no one would ever get put under for it but I guess sometimes they have to cut into the jaw or something if the teeth are really jacked. Idk.

Here's to hoping he'll approve the request but I'll at least wait for the days supply to run out before I put in a request. I think he thought it may have been more painful than it actually was because one of the roots was close to a major nerve. I should know what it's called.

I've got a great nurse practitioner I see and she'll write me whatever I want but in FL they can't write for scheduled drugs so it's just a buncha tramadol (#120/month, 5 refills at a time) and muscle relaxers. My old primary physician is retiring and I don't like his replacement so I'll have to go find a new one. Oh and a methadone clinic just opened up nearby, hah.

we cut into the jaw if they're impacted. plenty of people stay awake for that, though, honestly. usually doesn't take more than 30 minutes to get 4 wisdom teeth out.
