Personally, I never delete a post without banning the ID for some amount of time so they know why I did it. A lot of people seem to forget that this is a free site, and while we try to provide as much freedom as possible to the users, we still have to prevent the site from going to hell like 4chan did, or else it closes down because Frank can't afford to host a steaming pile of shit that he can't even stand to visit. So yes, sometimes your posts will disappear; get over it.
