By not consuming meat, you subject yourself to inferior animals of the lower food-chains.

To support my thesis, I have included a picture of seasoned barbecue brisket.

Embrace Homo sapiens and devour other, inferior animals that taste delicious.

What is the food chain? It is but another chain of slavery in the name of nature.
That disgusting force.

By being Vegan we do not subjugate ourselves to the lower forms on the chain but escape it entirely.
May the chains be cast off - may this planet and ecosystem be doomed to its inevitable fate of burning up in the atmosphere.
And then when our home is but a black hole on the backdrop of the night sky we will tell our children of the evils of our ancestral home - where animals murdered one another and we let predators enact suffering across the globe.
And then the Vegan brothers will look on at the new "food chain" - a clean system without oppression - herbivores in isolation and without suffering.

Vegetarianism was significantly associated with patients over 65 years, male gender, body mass index (BMI) of less than 20 Kg/m2 and economic deprivation. Colorectal cancer was positively associated with old age and male gender,

and inversely associated with vegetarian diet, low BMI and economic deprivation. The inverse association of CRC and lifelong vegetarianism was observed with all the three control groups.

... Syntax I don't know what you're trying to point out ... Either you're being dumb or I'm being dumb ... but that just backs up the colon cancer veggie immunity.
And I didn't justify being veggie by not getting colon cancer ... just took satisfaction in the fact meat eaters are gonna get colon cancer >:)

Ya failed to look at the link - That study takes life long vegetarians and compares colon cancer to the outside world of meat eaters. Nothing gained.

Gavin I have worked/lived in total veggy places on planet Earth and enjoyed complex curries, but I also could not wait until I got my teeth in a nice rare steak.

I did look and that Study as I read it clearly says that CRC has a lower prevelance in Life long Vegetarians - in a country already with one of the lowest rates of CRC.

I don't want to argue with facts and studies because I'm lazy and just come here to spit things out without justifying them ... but if you do some googling about processed meat and red meat you'll see a whole array of studies on colon cancer risks. I imagine the cheap taco meat is processed and is gonna give your butthole cancer.

Your view on souls is my view on your mumbo jumbo about fruits crying when I eat them.

I have eaten meat a handful of times - I have never yearned for those tastes again. You are hooked on murder brother.

Wiki says Homo sapiens originated in Africa, where it reached anatomical modernity about 200,000 years ago.

They evolved in2 hunter gatherers. So you and I wood not be here if not for meat eaters.

But hey I hold no grudge against those who abstain from eating meat.

I make damn sure I get my share of Fruits n Veggies every day - Fiber to move that meat out of colon quickly is a good thing.

For sure I am going to Murder plate full of Carnitas Tacos which will be loaded with chopped Cilantro n Onion and ground up Chile peppers and those wonderful grilled Jalapenos that have that Candy quality from the caramelized sugars. Amazing how grilling Veggies brings out those Sugars.

Marinated Carrots and Onions add to a balanced meal.
