We used to bump the coin across the desk in three goes, and try to get it to stop with the edge of the coin just over the edge of the desk. Then flip it up and catch it with one hand. Then put it between your thumbs, and throw it between goal posts made by the other players fingers. First to three won, and no bloody knuckles.
