It's not that expensive and better than popov or something. Rue 33 is made by the devil but it's decent and inexpensive. Russian standard is about the best value for the money as far as I'm concerned. Still prefer stolis though.

Yea I used to think Vodka was just so simple. It comes down to how much is thrown away - How much of the first run is tossed out. Then how many tymes is the stuff re-distilled - Not just the triple distilled but how complex a still they use and how fast they do it as an industrial process.

Bottom line is that in blind tastings they all have a different taste. And of course that water that is added at the end to cut the proof. All waters have a taste n some more better then others.

BUTTTTTT When one mixes an expensive Vodka with fruit juices I say its just a waste of money to put super expensive Vodka in a mixed drink.
