Slap some demand mods on that shit. Some of the buildings are still clearly medium density even if they're on high density squares, and I still see some unused land that could be utilized with some creative levelling.

Is your city connected to all adjacent ones in the region? How big are those? Building those will temporarily drain the region's collective demand pool, but leaving those for some time will have an exponential effect on it after a while; I was eventually left with so much demand that I struggled to meet it proportionally with supply. That's kind of why the game lost its playability with me, even though it's one of the few games I can actually play to any competence.

I honestly think the open-endedness is the best part. For one, it meant no obstacles (beyond sensible demand/supply constraints, and I liked that grounding, too). And because there are no obstacles, there are no limitations to potential.
