I'm having a bit of a computer problem. I installed the new version of bit lord and it reset my home page. I tried to reset it and it froze up on me. Blank page and nothing worked, I tried everything. Couldn't even restart. So I shut my computer off. Now I have the black screen of death.
I can start up in safe mode, but to use any of the repair modes I need the windows vista installation disc, which I don't have. I do have a back-up from last week. Any way I can restore my system with that?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Edit never mind, it just came back on by itself. Go figure.

Google how to fix it and then do it.

There are ghosts in the wires that causes glitches, hiccups, and other such hindrances.
In my infinite wisdom I have found that yelling at something and then walking away for a few minutes does wonders. I'm sure it's because the machine/car/computer gets upset with itself after their anger at being used subsides and they fix themselves out of a sense of shame and a desire to feel needed again.

> bit lord
there's your problem. bitlord is an unserious scam torrent client with built-in adware.

Tell us more about anti's personal tastes in entertainment.
I think I may have a lead on his identity.

Well even if it doesn't resolve the issue, at least you'll feel better.

Personally I like the older builds of uTorrent; 1.8.x to 2.0
While they lack the proper utp tracker announcing that newer versions have, it was still a minimalist client with everything you need for basic up/down-loading.
The newer incarnations have a lot of additional features for what I assume is local network sharing to televisions or other computers or something. It's beginning to look like Limewire did in it's later years.

I use the one recommended by TPB.
