I was going into a bad habit of eating carbohydrates again the month prior. (I've since removed most starches too, except for stuff I know that only contains polysaccharides and nothing else.) It wasn't that I was gaining weight (actually my metabolism seemed a bit overactive from the introduction to sugar, and needless to say I'm still a formlessly scrwany rake) but my concentration was going to shit. Now my concentration's returned, and although I feel a bit physically lethargic, it's a tradeoff I'm willing to content myself with.

Ah, in my case I mean any carb that converts directly into glycogen. I don't think I've had much straight sugar generally in my life. It's always come in some other form. But with the high-fructose corn-mutant shit circulating in foods nowadays, you can't trust it.
