America used to have technology, and industrial might on their side. Not any more, it's all outsourced to maximize profits for corporate shareholders. It will be hard to fight China if they are the ones making your weapons. China has a strangle hold on rare earth minerals, they control the supply of exotic materials that future products (including weapons) are made of.
Dropping atomic bombs is so 1940's. You've lost every war since, and average people funding the wars don't even know who or why they are killing anymore.

Israel is the mediating factor enabling the American economic system to continue justify bolstering such a large military-industrial complex. This is what people still refuse to get.
