As far as I can tell they're modern satanists, according to their beliefs they are both reasonably agnostic [in all things] and skeptics. The pink mass was an invention of the TST according to their spokesperson (specifically to troll the WBC and gain exposure apparently). I wasn't familiar with them before this publicity stunt.
