Well... that's uhm... progressive and all but I feel like a lot of this is nurture not nature as to how they self identify. We can look at "abnormal psychology" case studies of those with gender dysphoria and the general trend as far as I can tell is that most people tend to make these lifestyle decisions or become cognizant of their preferred/inner/"real" gender identity a little later in life (mid-late teens through early adulthood).
I'm kind of on the fence on this one. On one hand I think parents should be accepting and supportive of their child's decisions as far as their personal identity goes and plenty of kids that do identify as their opposite gender appear to be normal otherwise.
On the other hand I don't know about this camp and I would want to know who owned, ran, and supported it financially before I tried to discern underlying motives or if it was a something to support their own agendas. I almost want to write it off as a crash quasi-brainwashing course and I'm sure that would be the knee-jerk reaction of a lot of people (not just conservatives).
Regardless I think the demographic they're targeting is a little young to be concerned with alternative gender identities or alternative sexualities. Who knows how the kids will turn out in the end... but I do wonder whether this camp will make a positive, negative, or negligible impact on their lives.
