If you are serious? More better to download Irfan View. Its free n it does a lot more then convert extensions.

FuckAlms uses GIMP2 which I have loaded but its one hell of a learning curve.

I use gimp occasionally but still use CS5 for most stuff. I use Paintdotnet for really simple stuff. I was using older versions of MSpaint instead of PDN but they don't play well with my OS.

PDN is pretty straight forward and simple to use. Fine for minor edits, file conversions, etc.

Do you talk to your mother with that kind of language?
The only reason to use PS over Gimp is for works destined for printing which require a CMYK colorspace. And CMYK is an unserious fraud colorspace anyway because RGB achieves equivalent color without the file weight of an extra channel.

No, it would be autistic waffle to her.

The reason I still use CS5 is mostly because I got used to it and illustrator, indesign, PS, etc are handy tools when you're helping put together zines.

GIMP is fine and I occasionally use it but I still prefer CS5 (with that said I wouldn't pay a dime for it regardless).
