The one impulse in man which cannot be erased is his impulse toward freedom, his impulse toward sanity, toward higher levels of attainment in all of his endeavors.

Scientology's a bit of a Jew religion but nonetheless makes for an interestingly wacky read.

http://www.wiseoldgoat.com/papers-scientology/hubbard_fiction_of_lrh_chrono-list.html

He wrote one hell of a lot of words. Lots of Si Fi and Fantasy. Mystery n Westerns - Adventure - Romance 250 published works of fiction in his writing career.

And And of course Religion. Wiki says " Hubbard wrote at lightning speed. He used a special electric IBM typewriter with extrakeys for common words like ‘and’, ‘the’, and ‘but.’ The going rate for freelance writers at the time was only a cent a word, so Hubbard's total earnings from these articles would have been less than $100."

Thing is someHow he made a huge fortune convincing people that his written Religion was for real. A terrific joke considering he was considered not such a great writer with the previous stuff.

tl;dr?

Those who follow Hubbard Religion shit - Again proves a sucker born every minute.

But have you read Dianetics?

TOM-CRUISE scientology.jpg@previous (A)

You the same dude who asks us if we have read the Koran?

I used to be a fan of Si Fi and some Fantasy. Tried several short stories in the pulp fiction books with Hubbard stories and after a couple I passed all the others up.

Now most people no the inside story about Scientology its practices include brainwashing and routinely defrauding its members and harassing its critics and perceived enemies with psychological abuse, character assassination and costly litigation.

And of course the infamous

Xenu (/ˈziːnuː/ ZEE-noo) also spelled Xemu, was, according to Scientology founder and science-fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard, the dictator of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions of his people to Earth (then known as "Teegeeack") in a DC-8-like spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and killed them using hydrogen bombs. Official Scientology scriptures hold that the essences of these many people remained, and that they form around people in modern times, causing them spiritual harm.

These events are known within Scientology as "Incident II", and the traumatic memories associated with them as "The Wall of Fire" or the R6 implant. The narrative of Xenu is part of Scientologist teachings about extraterrestrial civilizations and alien interventions in earthly events, collectively described as "space opera" by Hubbard. Hubbard detailed the story in Operating Thetan level III (OT III) in 1967, warning that the R6 "implant" (past trauma) was "calculated to kill (by pneumonia, etc.) anyone who attempts to solve it".

Within the Church of Scientology, the Xenu story is part of the church's secret "Advanced Technology", considered a sacred and esoteric teaching, which is normally only revealed to members who have contributed large amounts of money. The church avoids mention of Xenu in public statements and has gone to considerable effort to maintain the story's confidentiality, including legal action on the grounds of copyright and trade secrecy. Officials of the Church of Scientology widely deny or try to hide the Xenu story. Despite this, much material on Xenu has leaked to the public via court documents, copies of Hubbard's notes, and the Internet. In commentary on the impact of the Xenu text, academic scholars have discussed and analyzed the writings by Hubbard and their place within Scientology within the contexts of science fiction, UFO religions, gnosticism and creation myth.

I did wonder why you were named 'kook' despite being the voice of big-government radfem orthodoxy. Now I know. You're a crypto-communist ala. Weather Underground, but still deluded in the whole impression of rebellion that comes with the literal interpretation of the Marxian religion stripped of its obvious Jewish implications.
