Daily I am surrounded by Dolphins and on occasion I see Whales but never ever get that close to them - Maybe a 5 minutes of additional swim out to get total close. Usually smaller Whales then the one in Video but have viewed ones that size on occasion.
Have run face to fact into a Sea Lion. Very cool n memorable

He may've sympathized with the right team, but it stands that he's still a dirty celtonegroidal reptillian state-sympathizer.

Actually every single day of the week. We call them Sand Sharks and they eat very small stuff. Once n only one tyme I drove up to a location about 45 minutes North of me where two Great White Sharks were spending a few weeks. I did NOT take my Surf board. I did a quick swim out but a slower swim back so as to not attract attention. Cannot say I saw the Sharks but can say others did so I did swim near them.
Once was enough - No need to repeat cause only minutes South of where I sure and I mean less then 5 minutes someone a few years ago lost their life to a Great White.

I've heard that some beaches play John Williams' Jaws theme over the loudspeakers to warn people about shark presence.

I have heard that story. We have had Shark warnings on occasion but its life guards yelling and waving us in. These days it could be a Tsunami or a mass of stinging Jelly fish around so We pay fast attention.
