I have started on the first article.
"The Doctor" is an avid poster on Tinychan BBS and has had a substantial impact on the TC community, most notably through his excessive use of avatarfagging with christopher_eccleston.jpg and repetitive, "default" phrases. "christopher_eccleston.jpg" is a commonly used reference, referring to a specific reaction image which was routinely posted for well over 2 years straight and consecutively by The Doctor, depicting the ninth doctor from the Doctor Who series, played by Christopher Eccleston. The image was so over-used and predictably awaited that it gained an infamous notoriety and had a horrendous affect over the majority of the TC community, causing certain posters to lash out and throw fits, ranting and raving that The Doctor should be banned for spamming his images and contributing little to no content. The administrator and moderation have come out and said that until he actually, truly breaks a rule, he will not be banned. This has caused The Doctor's asspained haters to believe that his schtick is an inside job, working along with the administration of TC and having free reign to do as he pleases without facing consequences. Dr. Phil is The Doctor's more recent tool for avatarfagging and making users mad.

Despite my best efforts to show people he's just a troll, he has been able to continually elicit a steady stream of angry slandering from a couple of anonymous posters.
It's an established model that trolls will continue for as long as they are fed responses, so it falls to the responders to break the chain. I find it mind-boggling that they continue to perpetuate the cycle when they have never once gotten anything that might be considered aggravation on his part.
On that same token, I'm a bit envious of his ability to remain completely unfazed by everything that gets thrown his way.
And then there's the way in which he turns the old names vs. anons row on its side by causing one particular anon to become as easily identifiable as any named poster, simply by the way he is constantly trying to one-up the doc.
