I mean its so documented that its bad for your health, your appearance, your skin, it makes you smell, you blow a few grand a year on it.
Most people would say "that's not something I'll ever take up."
Yet year after year, new smokers join the ranks. Do they think its cool or something?
The high you get off of it is minimal. I can understand smoking pot for the high, and cigars for the flavor, but cigarettes? Weak, too addictive and unhealthy.

I find people who want to quit, but "can't" to be annoying. Those who smoke all day, and then drone on about how they wish they never started. This is a good number of smokers, too.

Cigarette acceptance didn't come about until college for me. A lot of kids in my HS dipped though, which is just the nastiest of habits.

There was a poster with all the additives in cigarettes. Stuff like antifreeze. That doesn't make any sense given the regulation of the tobacco industry, I don't think. NIH says that "current US-style cigarettes generally contain about a 10% level of additives according to weight, mostly in the form of sugars, humectants, ammonia compounds, cocoa, and licorice". Cigs without additives aren't any less harmful than those with additives.
Just sounds like... propaganda. They could just go with the medical facts and that'd be enough. No need to lie and stigmatize.

No, and that's because my Highschool was predominantly white, and upper middle class. Also relatively small, and mostly indoors so getting away with smoking wasn't a thing you'd likely be able to do, even if you wanted to. A couple kids smoked, but it was only once or twice. There was no "smoker's pit".
