If you own a house and wanted to rent out a room to someone but one of your rules was "No guns" can you inforce it? Or would you just have to have faith in the persaon you're renting to

I don't think so. Once you rent it renter's rights kick in.

If it's your private property I'm sure you could put it into the lease agreement. Plenty of businesses don't allow you to carry firearms into them (hospitals, malls, theaters, etc) so I don't see why you couldn't.
