Pretty accomplished for your age. I'm a year older than you, unmarried, and don't own nearly as many guns :p
@previous (F)
I'm not afraid of a drunken, fast food gobbling smoker. You'd keel over from a heart attack before any real fighting could take place.

@previous (G)
It wasn't all a cakewalk but the women (or should I say the woman) will come and you can only shoot one gun at a time anyway (well maybe two). <3

Still in school or just figuring things out?

@267,580 (F)
And I've still done more with my life.

How old are you again, Bert?

I actually dropped out of college. I have a career that I love and make a comfortable living, to say the least. I have a good relationship with a great girl, but we've only been together for 8 months. Marriage and shit isn't even on the radar, lol. We are planning on moving in together soon though.

·Anti 13.4 years ago, 38 minutes later, 8 hours after the original post[T] [B] #267,614

@previous (G)
That's great, tinycomrade. Yeah once you start living together that's when you know if things are going to pan out or not, lol. It can take some getting adjusted to but it has a lot of perks too. Marriage is bullshit anyway IMO, I mean you don't need a notarized piece of paper saying you love someone. Although it does come in handy when it comes to things like health insurance. Also once you start wearing a wedding band women tend to hit on you more, or at least that's been my experience.

Shit dude. We both have good jobs and can get a sweet place. I'm waiting to see what's available, but I'm considering buying a house. I do well enough that I'll have enough for a down payment pretty soon, but I haven't done fuck all to build credit and my score is only 683. Figuring out how to safely build credit is tricky. I'm still only 26 and prone to rash and impulsive decisions. I'm the anon that you emailed, BTW.

@previous (G)
Hey it could be worse. But you'll be fine especially w/ dual incomes. I know we lived in some shitty places while I was in school but it all paid off in the end.

Oh and if you have some cash in hand I'd suggest starting w/ secured loans to help establish more positive credit history.

We're planning on heading out West to NM.

She'll be done with her clinicals about the time I'm taking a trip to Cambodia if all goes as planned. Then once things settle down hopefully we'll strike out West.

I have no credit. Is it used for anything besides evaluating whether someone is going to trust you with a loan on x amount of money?

·Anonymous B13.4 years ago, 4 hours later, 14 hours after the original post[T] [B] #267,693

@previous (FuckAlms !vX8K53rFBI)
If you intend to buy a house, car, or make any major purchases, then yes you'll need some credit history. If you've got a little scratch then take out a secured loan. Start out small if you have to like $500-1k. Then keep doing it. It helps a fair bit.
