I think with a little playing around you could get some nice arcs of electricity. Maybe try two metal posts and attach a + and a - to them and then just take a thin and long piece of metal out and touch both rods and get some nice little sparks. You'd have to be careful obviously and photographing it would be a pain. Maybe take a small video and just use a few stills from the video? Idk maybe even try finding a miniature Tesla coil to play w/ or build your own. ;)

Maybe I'll try something similar with a motorcycle battery and gummy bears and report back.
