Topic: The other side of 'rape culture'.
+Anonymous A — 13.4 years ago #22,015
The whole 'rape culture' thing is bullshit in my opinion. Unless a society actively promotes the rape of women, either by direct indoctrination or subliminal messages, rapes are still carried out by the same mentally messed up minority of people who more often happen to be men, but don't account for even 0.1% of the male populace.
It's pure misandry if you ask me. Women are more likely to kill their children than men are, yet I never hear about some supposed 'child murder' culture being perpetuated in the media and women are seen as the de facto more caring and nurturing of the two sexes and are almost always awarded primary custody of children in divorces.
