ya, even ltamake tried out new things and worked on random (usually useless) kinks. on the other hand frank is a nice god. in many other ways.

A few months ago jan was around and said he'd be willing to redo the code for either 1.0 or slinky. I can't remember how the vote went, but he hasn't said much lately.
On a side note, I think people should be aware that, while frank doesn't seem to do a lot with tc's features, it's important to give him credit for keeping the site online. And for those who don't visit irc, he does work on the back side of things to provide better ddos protection for maximum uptime.

While I'd love to be like Kimmo and add new features regularly, I don't really have the patience to dive into the horrid code and navigate my way through a clusterfuck of massive SQL queries, inline HTML and nested control structures. I'll probably give another stab at creating decent BBS software from scratch (GunlogBBS turned out to be a failure), but my new hobbies leave me little time to design and write such an elaborate piece of software.
