Topic: Why would someone choose to be Muslim?

It obviously sounds like it sucks.
What inspires someone, whilst eating a bowl a cereal, to pick up a Koran, and think to themselves, "wow, this sounds great!"
As a fairly liberal person myself, I cannot stand when lefties defend Muslims but persecute Christians. At least be FAIR. If a Muslim is a terrorist, they spew "one terrorist doesn't represent all Muslims" but when it comes to Christianity they are so quick to call them bigots. Fellow liberals, this double standard needs to stop. As an atheist, I despise both religions equally.
Granted, even extremist Christians don't go around blowing things up. The worse they do is picket funerals and think everyone is going to hell but them.
Why can't people realize that Heaven probably doesn't exist - and if it did - you don't have to be Muslim or Christian to be there. The "requirement" that these religions profess is ridiculous.

Marry as many women as you like, and if any of them get uppity, start giving you a hard time, you're within your rights to give her a short, sharp slap across the face, or to kill her.
