Not many people (here) know this, but I have some of the most fucked up things happen to me. Today I'm going to share what happened over the winter with you.
So I had decided to travel 12 hours north to go visit my girlfriend at her aunts (close family to her). I don't drive tho, so I would have to take the bus.
At first the trip was alright, Only had to sit near a very vocal retard (excuse the term) while she screamed her whole trip, and I mean at the top of her lungs. Then I got to the halfway point, and when I went to transfer, turns out that the ticket center in my town didnt give me enough tickets, so I had to fight with the bus company for my ride, as they thought I was trying to dupe them and get a free ride. I eventually got them to concede that the people from my town are idiots and was able to take the rest of the trip.
So we have to stop in this town maybe an hour away from my final destination. We stop to let passengers off, but then people were crowding at the window. I asked an older lady what was going on and she said that the police were out there checking through luggage. "Neat" I thought, but little did I know there was nothing neat about it.
One of the cops stepped on the bus and asked if "GaryOak" (name withheld for obv reasons) was on the bus. I got upo and said it was me, and left the bus. As soon as I stepped off they handcuffed me and told me I was under arrest for drug trafficking, and whether that was my bag or not, and I told them it was. They put me in the cruiser, and asked if they could search my stuff, including my carry on items that they got off the bus and I said sure. As they searched my shit, the bus I was on left without me.
They came back a few minutes later, told me they didnt find anything and they would have to let me go. I asked them if I could get on the other bus that was still there, and they told me I couldnt as it wasnt my bus. I pressed them, asking how I was to get to where I was going, and they said they would have to drive me there or catch up to the bus.
So I got in the cruiser, drove for a bit and was switched to another cruiser after a bit.
The new cop asked me how I was and where I was from, being all chummy with me, and I told him
"you ever see a moose before?"
"no, they arent around where I live"
"well I nearly hit some on the way here, If I see one I'll slow down and show you one"
Whatever... So were going, and he slows down and says he thinks he saw one in the bushes, and just to hold on for a second. So he slows down, does a u turn and ends up ditching the cruiser in a snow drift filled bank. and gets us stuck.
"...I might have fucked us."
I couldn't stop laughing. He thought there was something wrong with me. We had to wait 20 minutes for a tow to come get us out. Shit was so cash
In the end we made it there, and I was dropped off at a family event in a cruiser, first time meeting her family.
I never did see that fucking moose.

Oh, they got a phone call that someone was, stopped the bus and they thought it was mine cause they were smelling it... with their noses. not like they had an actual reason.
