Negative. I was trying to find a relation between the incident and any previous stress or injuries but I can't imagine how I pulled this off. I haven't done anything out of the norm recently. Some kayaking and weight lifting but this is the first time I've injured my shoulder AFAIK. I went to bed a little high and out of it but I still haven't figured out wtf happened.

I know I do the pharmacy thing for a living and have been a professional addict for longer. I quit doing most opiates a while back after I got a little too carried away with banging hydromorphone.

I won't bother doing a CWE on them since I'll only be at 2g/day for a brief period.

For the foot injury?

I was just searching the intertubes and apparently I'm not the first person to do this but it seems uncommon. Now that I've done it once it'll likely to happen again down the road but aleast now I have a good idea about how to reset it.

Also got a nice dose of midazolam for conscious sedation. Versed had been a favorite for a while but I quit it with the dilaudid since I was combining them. It was nice while it lasted anyway. I don't know of any other benzos IV that give a "rush" whereas versed does.

Oh, gotcha.

You might look into trying cissus, I've had some patients w/ joint issues really benefit from it even though it's not something they'd get from the pharmacy anyway.

Specifically cissus quadrangularis. It's a plant that does a lot of awesome stuff for joints/tendons/ligaments. It does take a few weeks before you see any real benefit though. Usually after the first month there's a noticeable difference (if it's going to work for you).
