I learned that you should push your motorcycle home, and not try to tow it behind a car. I learned it from a friend of mine that told a sad story about his motorcycle. And gravel rash. And towing fucking motorcycles.

Apparently you wrap the rope once around the center of your handlebars and hold it with your hand. You don't tie the motorbike to the tow vehicle. The rider lets got of the rope instead of being thrown from the bike.
