I do not see how telling someone to be careful is the same as blaming them. If I go walking around at 3 am in the morning with $10,000 and nothing to protect myself with, and got mugged, were the muggers justified? Hell no... But you have to crazy to not admit it was a pretty stupid thing to do. When you criticize people for saying its not a good idea, you're basically telling people to give up common sense, simply because they "have the right to".

I dont mind someone telling people to be careful, in fact they do all of the time. But if some dude had been assraped, no one would have said "Why were you drinking? You should have been expecting a buttfucking"

I was born lucky re drink. Hated just hated being born Jewish....However every Jewish kid grows up much like French kids. Wine is a regular event.
I hated just hated that sweet Jammy concord grape wine. But my Mom let me taste her Martinis, on trips to Vegas. Hated that then but Martini's are one of my Favs Now.
So I never understood why friends were stealing parents booze, when I could help myself to whatever I wanted but never really did. So permissive parents? Did not hurt me and gave me respect for maybe a more intelligent way to deal with such.
