Topic: Why don't people know that paper towels are vastly more hygenic?

Sponges and rags are breeding grounds for germs. Why do people use these things on their dishes and living spaces?

Paper towels are vastly more sanitary.

After I use my dish sponges, I thoroughly rinse them out, squeeze them out, and then pop them in the microwave. I use white vinegar to clean my sink and counters (diluted) on an as-you-go-basis, and use soap and hot water a few times a week as well.

White vinegar is wonderful for cleaning! And it doesn't leave a film. Do you know that rather than fabric softener, you can add white vinegar to your laundry, and it also freshens it?

@OP

I KNOW. I used to work for a vet who would not allow the use of paper towels because he was a cheap bastard. It was so gross.

No thanks, I don't want my clothes reeking of vinegar.

1/4 cup per full load. That's not too much.

Can you use Domestos in the laundry?

+Anonymous G13.4 years ago, 4 minutes later, 38 minutes after the original post[T] [B] #253,690

@previous (F)
Yes, but it's much more effective when taken orally in gallon doses.
