Yeah, some dentists are generous with the pain meds. Our oral surgeon only prescribes 800mg ibuprofen, even after having all 4 wisdom teeth out. The dentist I work for gives vicodin to people after root canals, lol.

LOL you won't. They give you a buffer. Usually it's recommended 8-12 hours no food or water. Just don't drink anymore and you will be fine!
