Although the origin of lesbianism is unknown, two main theories dominate today. The first theory is that lesbianism was founded in 1965 by kook as a way for strong independent women to avoid the patriarchal oppression of men. The other theory is that syntax invented lesbianism as a means of producing pornography during World War II when American men were overseas fighting. This theory is questioned, however, because at the time syntax was launching Qualcomm satellites while surfing on a 10 mile run.
