We as a society have become so obsessed with the idea of racism that we have reversed it back exactly to where it started - racism. Toward the white male.
White men are heavily discriminated against in today's society. Today, driving, I saw a Women's Center and a Black Cultural Center. I looked for a White Man's Center, but I couldn't find one. Why do we single out women and blacks with their own buildings, but no place for white men? Just like women and blacks, white men have done some great things throughout history. Why do we get no special monument honoring us?
We have a special month dedicated to African Americans. Where is the special month dedicated to white males? And we have a Women's day. Where is Men's Day? And women actually outnumber men in terms of population - yet, somehow, women are giving the minority treatment. How can there be discrimination toward women when women dominate the population!
If there was a art building called White Male's Cultural Center, it would be heavily seen as racist. But if it's Black Cultural Center, it's seen as honoring a heritage.
I see how blacks talk to each other, with their own special language, and acceptable use of the n-word to each other that white men are socially forbidden to say; there is a cohesive bond there, that I as a white man just don't have with other white men. White males have it worse socially, because we don't get a special clique or club we can join for being a white man.
As a white man, if there's a woman or black man up for the same job as me, they'd get it simply because of their race and gender.
I feel hurt, or saddened, that we live in a time where an cultural building can be called Women's Center, and that's okay.
I understand that they had the short end of the deal in the past, years ago, but how on Earth does that justify naming shit after them and honoring them while honoring white male's is seen as racist? That's just racism in itself.

When white men kill each other, and also women, it sure does feel like discrimination. When white men make up every ceo, and up until recently, every president, it sure does feel like discrimination. When white men can throw on a wig and heels, to sneak into women's bathrooms, it sure does feel like discrimination.
