I guess that's another cover for it, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266308/

@248,241 (C)
A few reasons, one being that I don't want to get into a voice to voice conversation when my brother walks in on me and wants to watch something, he's been doing this a lot more lately. Another being that I've used to be on Skype late at night when all of the interesting people were online and I've been attempting to get back on a better sleep schedule.

@previous (fullmouthextraction !2CQezZ7g6I)
I watched it last night. I can see why people say movies like "The Condemned" and "The Hunger Games" ripped it off.

+Antikhristos 13.5 years ago, 1 minute later, 16 hours after the original post[T] [B] #248,453

@OP

Agreed.

The Hunger Games was fkng awful anyway.

@248,451 (Cathy !TGirlYJKXM)
glad you watched it! did you like it?

@previous (Antikhristos )
i read the books and enjoyed them enough, but the movie was terrible.

·Cathy !TGirlYJKXM13.5 years ago, 3 minutes later, 16 hours after the original post[T] [B] #248,463

@previous (fullmouthextraction !2CQezZ7g6I)
Yeah, I kind of did actually.

·Antikhristos 13.5 years ago, 23 seconds later, 16 hours after the original post[T] [B] #248,464

@248,460 (fullmouthextraction !2CQezZ7g6I)
I can't say anything in regards to the books but I went with the missus and a couple of her friends to see the
movie when it opened and you couldn't pay me to sit though that thing again. :/

I doubt I'd even give the books a chance after that experience.

·fullmouthextraction !2CQezZ7g6I (OP) — 13.5 years ago, 8 minutes later, 16 hours after the original post[T] [B] #248,473

@previous (Antikhristos )
hahaha yeah well I don't blame you. If I hadn't read them before I doubt I would have after seeing it too.

·Antikhristos 13.5 years ago, 7 minutes later, 16 hours after the original post[T] [B] #248,478

@previous (fullmouthextraction !2CQezZ7g6I)
It was a traumatic experience. I don't think the psychological scars will ever really heal. I'm hoping after a few years of therapy I'll be able to give the books a chance but I don't want to be too optimistic since my therapist doesn't think I have a very good prognosis.

I'm in the process of suing for mental anguish to at least cover medical expenses incurred from exposure to that film.

·fullmouthextraction !2CQezZ7g6I (OP) — 13.5 years ago, 6 minutes later, 16 hours after the original post[T] [B] #248,485

@previous (Antikhristos )
It's right up there with twilight. Imagine having read the books and enjoyed them... then having what you thought was a good story completely destroyed in an hour and a half.

·Antikhristos 13.5 years ago, 4 minutes later, 16 hours after the original post[T] [B] #248,492

@previous (fullmouthextraction !2CQezZ7g6I)
At least I didn't have to watch twilight but I feel your pain. The road disappointed me in a similar way but it wasn't that bad. Resident Evil was a huge let down too.

I'm still hopeful for neuromancer and the electric church if they ever make it to the box office but it doesn't seem like it'll ever happen.

Pretty much every H.P. Lovecraft adaptation has been painful to watch for me too.

·fullmouthextraction !2CQezZ7g6I (OP) — 13.5 years ago, 5 minutes later, 17 hours after the original post[T] [B] #248,498

@previous (Antikhristos )
Why must some filmmakers insist on ruining good things? I should just start making movies myself for only myself so I will be satisfied.

·Antikhristos 13.5 years ago, 3 minutes later, 17 hours after the original post[T] [B] #248,500

@previous (fullmouthextraction !2CQezZ7g6I)
Sometimes it's honestly not their fault but because they don't have carte blanche to actually produce something worthwhile because a few clueless assholes think something else will be more marketable.

I make private films for my own enjoyment but I don't think we're talking about the same thing now.
