now that i'm cruising on through my 20s (not that this qualifies me to be all-knowing by any means) I'm slowly realizing just how temporary this life is, and FUCK I've wasted so much time. Bad things happened to me before now, but even when bad things happened to me as a teenager, it's worlds different than having bad things happen to you as an adult. I always had a support system as a kid and a teenager. I lost one half of my parental unit at 17 and had to grow up real fast. I suppose this also varies with different backgrounds and upbringings... this is just my personal thought. MORAL of that jumbled mess: DON'T TAKE IT FOR GRANTED.
