Topic: The worst feeling is reaching the end of a film and realising that you've already seen the film.

+Gavin !!KyvSN1WTu13.2 years ago #20,252

Getting to the last 10 minutes of a shitty film and it's 10 minutes from the end and the big twist.
And you think to yourself "OH SHIT! I've seen this! I know the twist at the end!"

At that point you have multiple thoughts running through your head
"Man this film sucks."
"I just spoiled this shit movie for myself"
"I already knew this film sucked"
"Man I've wasted 4 hours watching this film twice now!"

It's a combination of depression, sadness, disappointment, self hatred, hatred for the film and the realisation you're getting old and your memory is fucked.

Makes me want to kill myself.
Then again waking up makes me want to kill myself.

For once I can relate to one of your threads. And I hate it when this happens.

Do it. Nobody will miss you.

I've never made it to the end, but have watched the first 20 min or so.

so why are you always so angry and horrible to everyone? you're always telling people to kill themselves and that nobody will miss them. only very unhappy and lonely people say things like this.

Because I'm a huge douche, basically.

are you happy being this way? wouldn't you like to change? i mean, it can't be pleasant to go through life being a 'huge douche', because people don't like to be around people like that. surely it leads to quite a lonely and unhappy life.

But people love being around me. I'm only a douche to useless eaters on the internet, as a passtime.

@previous (The Doctor !7MHPahvoGY)
but you seem to do this a lot. can you not think of more interesting ways to spend your free time? it can't be much fun to spend a lot of time telling strangers to kill themselves. i don't know of any happy people with social lives who would spend time doing that.

It's a lot of fun.

@previous (The Doctor !7MHPahvoGY)
what about telling strangers on the internet to kill themselves is fun for you? it just seems like something a very unhappy person with no real life would do.

Someone needs to inform certain people that they are ruining the gene pool and should partake in natural deselection.

My life is so busy right now that I actually don't have the energy for much else at the end of a working day. Fortunately, I get paid a lot of money to do very important work which I enjoy doing, so I'm fine with that.

·Anonymous F13.2 years ago, 8 minutes later, 1 hour after the original post[T] [B] #246,405

@previous (The Doctor !7MHPahvoGY)
but it's very difficult to imagine a happy, successful person with an active and varied social life spending his time telling strangers on the internet to kill themselves. why do you not spend it with a girlfriend, or just friends, instead of online all the time? it just seems like something only a very unhappy and lonely person would do.

which is why i'm asking you to explain to me what the fun for you is in spending your free time telling strangers to kill themselves. i think, to be honest, that anyone in the world would consider it to be quite an unhappy way to spend time, not just me. again, why do you not spend it with a girlfriend, or just friends? what makes it interesting for you?
