I know that you don't need my respect, and you're not going to be terribly affected by my perception of your intelligence, but I'd like to let you know that I have a deep-seated prejudice. I will assume you're an idiot if you use the wrong form of "your" or "there" in a post. That particular error just jumps off the screen at me and yells "idiot!" It yells it so loudly that I cannot hear what you are saying at all. I've tried to be more understanding and less quick to jump to conclusions, but to no avail. I can't seem to help it. Even if English isn't your first language, it's worth it to learn those words well, because I am not alone in my prejudice. Nothing makes a person look dumber faster than to use the wrong form of "their" or "your". That's all - I'll never bring up the subject again.
