In the British corner (first examples that come to mind):

The Beatles
The Rolling Stones
The Kinks
Pink Floyd
The Who
Queen
Led Zeppelin
Genesis
King Crimson
Yes
Radiohead

In The American corner:

The Doors
The Beach Boys
The Eagles
Metallica
Jimi Hendrix Experience
Frank Zappa
Credence Clearwater Revival
Nirvana (yeah they're shit, but they're an important group)

You'd better get on with it, he's on his last legs. Pity too, because for me he's the greatest drummer in prog history (the 9/8 sequence in Supper's Ready by Genesis is mind-blowing).

I wish he could play until he was 100 years old... but even if he couldn't I still would marry him. And he's also like 37 years older than me. loldontcare
