Topic: Any cigar smokers here? DEF, anyone else?

I'm pretty new to it. I've been a cigarette smoker for a long time, but when this new liquor store with a kick ass walk in humidor opened up near me, I got into cigars. I've found that I enjoy milder, slower burning ones, and am especially partial to the ones made by Nat Sherman, who also makes grate cigarettes. I've tried Cubans before, and don't see what all the hype is about, since there are plenty of other places on the same latitude with identical climates that produce fine tobacco. If I want to smoke something illegal, it's gonna be green. Anyway, what are some of your favorite cigars, that you would recommend.

How do you feel about Montecristos?

Never tried them. I'll pick one up next time and report back.

I never really liked them but I'm also not a fan of cigars. They're popular enough that I assume there has to be some draw that I'm just not getting.

Hmm. All of my cigar smoking friends speak highly of Cohiba and Macanudo cigars. They're quite pricey. The Nat Sherman that I really like is about 4 bucks.

Again, not a fan of cigars. I've tried Romeo y Julieta as well and I don't really care for them either. But again, they seem to be quite popular.

Try any of the Oliva nubs. For milder, say, try the Cameroon. Always keep a few in my humidor.

Rarely. Hoyo de monterry is what I usually stick to as far as brands go. I like Shermans but I'm doing the ecig thing now too. Find a local shop with a walk-in humidor and ask the fggts there for suggestions. If you're not investing in a humidor don't bother buying more than what you plan to smoke.

They're OK but I think they're just a well known brand and a little iconic because of some psychotic fucktard politician troll.

The liquor store I go to has a really nice walk in humidor. I usually just buy a cigar to go with whatever booze I'm drinking. Total Wine doesn't seem like they have staff that's knowledgeable about cigars, so I just read the description and hope I like it. I may invest in a humidor because it will be good for my weed too. I've grown really partial to Shermans because they're always good and reasonably priced. If I get a humidor I'll buy a box of anglers. Those are my favorite.
