A few things you could do. If and only if she is wearing something that looks special so as to draw a compliment. You could compliment her but only if the compliment is earned. No lies no fibs.

Have you figured out wot she does in her spare tyme? Can you talk and get intel from one of her GFs'? Classes she takes can give you a clue about wot she is into.

Intel helps n finding a friend of hers to talk to really helps. I remember making that decision to just go up to a girl and chat with her and ask her what she was doing on the weekend. Failed to connect but it did give me confidence the next go round.

Because I have been through all of this and because I still have High School and Middle School friends after a lot of years - Man O Man I R happy a few said no thank you cause well just cause watching them grow up - I treasure them as friends buuuuuuut I could not stand to be with one of them for 24 hours straight. My now X Wife did not like her. Jealous of her which was weird. She also has a bad history with men who abuse her as in the regular out of bedroom abuse. First husband wood not allow her to touch him in the bedroom. Long marriage and after that she jumped in2 some ruff sex. Try rock climbing free or with hardware. Total rush total adrenaline total danger on a sustained climb because you get the adrenaline with endorphins and can make stoooopid mistrakes that can lead to end of life,

Skiing the same. Everyone I no who skis a lot equates skiing to sex - the most fun you can have with clothes on - SERIOUS WORLD Class Fun. Great Sex in the PM and AM b4 going out - a total healthy way to spend a few days.

I also get much of the same from Jitterbug dancing. Max heart rate for 7-8 mins and again and again and at same tyme hugs n kisses and partner after partner and only fail is when I am stuck with a well not so nice looking partner for a bit - its ok but if she cannot dance then its a really really painful 7 mins.

I am not so sure one has to own your own and it should be easy to get the gear really good gear cheep. Chat up local ski shop techs who ALWAYS have a line on used cough cough skis.

New skis are supplied for free to shops to evaluate so techs and sales people will talk them up to customers. Shops get a lot of gear they cannot sell as new and with connections you develop by just talking to them u may be surprised at the deals. Ski shows are great places and last years skis cause I buy new ever year and just send my old ones to Salvo army where someone is going to get a hell of a deal.

When I started surfing I bought or borrowed used boards. Needed tyme to figure out wot really works for me - Two years of almost free surfboards.

U asked me re skydiving and i wish i really wish I could enjoy. Its not the fear of falling cause n rock climbing one is on the very very edge of such. I just never felt in control. That same feeling first tyme on a black run on skis butttttt one gets in control or one may dead dead lol

So yea on first couple days on skis not so much control and then that orgasm momento of pure bliss - Sky dive no bliss just get me down to ground so I CAN Kiss it. Then again it was always a contest to get a grade to pass the course and hit that marked spot on ground - I did but it was painful and mean and not for this guy
