If Kimmo had made a sticky saying:

But he simply banned everyone who mentioned the spam and deleted their posts, like it's a big coverup. This is of course because he was the one doing the spamming.

I think he was just a bad liar. He approached it like he was spamming and hiding it, which he was. If he asked himself how he'd do it if he was innocent, he could fake it.
Kimmo though his main problem is he hates to communicate. I have never gotten an email reply from him. And it was hard to get him to talk on his website, as he usually just ignored and banned you when you spoke to him.
