Topic: xp is attempting to install updates
+Anonymous A — 13.5 years ago #19,320
I did not give it permission to do so, and it do not show anything on the shutdown menu. Plus, I'm restarting because the hard drive is full (again) and I want to clear the memory and reset the pagefile. Furthermore, the updates are most likely the cuase behind my drive mysteriously filling up when it's idling.
The screen says "do not turn off or unplug your computer; it will turn off automatically." But it's been installing update 2 of 3 for the last 5 minutes.
