He made it, they're putting him on some medication, and he has to wear something called a "life vest", but he made it. He says he's going to try and not smoke so much because he'd prefer to live a bit longer. He technically died for about a minute, and he had one of those NDEs that put things in perspective for him.

Docs should put him on pretend oxy tank so he dare not light up - do that for a couple of months to get him off the killer tobacco.

@235,119 (Syntax )
I knew a lady that we used to call the pirate, because she was leathery, brown, wore a lot of gold jewelry, and an eye patch. One day after she went back home, she lit up a cigarette, while leaving the oxygen mask around her neck. She ended up setting her face on fire, and dying.

An elderly man nearly died in a blaze that ripped through his Florida home after he lit a cigarette while hooked up to an oxygen tank.
Firefighters in Osceola County said the frail man was getting his nic fix in his bathroom when the fire ignited.
The unidentified man was able to escape the flames and dial 911, according to Orlando's WFTV television.
He suffered burns to his face and chest but survived, officials said.
The man told authorities that he knew he was playing with fire by lighting up while connected to the tank - he even keeps a "no smoking sign" in his home to remind visitors, the station reported.
