It's sad that it seems like SOME white men appreciate the beauty of dark-skinned black women more than our own race of men. 80% of the black women/white men couples i've seen the woman is either dark-skinned/brown, has natural hair, or both. As a light-skinned woman i especially noticed this because i've actually been turned down because i wasn't "chocolate enough".
Whoopi Goldberg was pretty popular amongst white men. All of her marriages/relationships has been with white men. I've heard white male celebrities like Patrick Swayze and Ted Danson mention the fact that they found her attractive. I've literally only heard ONE black man say that they found her pretty. Whoopi has spoken about this before, she said that black men are too busy chasing after women who look like Halle Berry or non-black women so that's the reason why she only dates outside of her race.
Alec Wek is really popular amongst white men in the supermodeling world. I don't hear too many black men saying that they find her attractive. Her husband is white. As a matter of fact, most brown and dark-skinned supermodels like Beverly Johnson, Iman, Oluchi are all married to white men. I guess for some white men the contrast in skin tones is what turns them on. Some find it a fetish, some have their other reasons, lol.
