And way back when I said I swing dance they said exactly the same thing of course no one can say that now.
I think you may be referring to my runners high stories? Actually and I hope this continues to be true, so far the only fuck ups from runners high from running is me losing my stairs gate key on the run and its twice now towards the end of the run. Costs me $25 to get lock guy to cut a new one.
So now my stories on Runners high but from hours of Swing dancing - Jitterbug/Swing/Cajun/Swing/Zydeco/. Typically this happens after two band sets of 45 minutes each and of course when I do the Marathon equiv of 6-10 hours at a festival.
So for example - In Santa Monica I left the club and was weaving on a two lane road going legal about 40 MPH n cop pulls me over for a full tox test. I explained that I was weaving re Dancing after effects ( I do drink but limit myself to maybe one cause it screws up my tyming) That night there was no tyme except for water .
Same club a few months later and almost home and tired and worn out so I pull up to a red light with Sheriff next to me and we make eye contact and when light changes I hit the gas peddle and boogie right past the cop and of course he hits red light to pull me over and says wtf? and I said yes that was pure dumb.
Explained it was from endorphins making me stoooopid. On ski slopes at end of day ski accidents are far more common in he last 30 mins cause of the runners high which kills all pain of tired and makes you feel not tired at all and like you could go for hours more. NEVER an accident but a major face plant for me in the last 5 minutes TWICE!
Another tyme I was almost home on the freeway here in San Diego after a huge downtown blocked off event with lots of bands n stages and 6 hours later I was tired and wanted to him my Jacuzzi n chill out. Waz behind a cop car for miles n miles n going about 10 miles over the speed limit and I let the Runners high and need to get home blank my mind out and I just moved a lane over and jumped 15 more miles per hour to pass the cop and of course I got pulled over and tested twice fully for DUI possible - Had one beer that night hours n hours b4. (at parties I do drink a lot more)
In fact cop was so convinced I was over the line he decided to give me the full test a 3rd tyme. I demanded he call his supervisor and what a dumb fuck thing that was cause it took a full hour to arrive - Supervisor agreed with me about no need for 3rd test but if I had kept my mouth shut I would have passed and been home in minutes.
3 more stories of me and cops and about the same. Sometymes I do pull over because I feel total incompetent to drive after hours of dancing re the high.
SO NOT Exciting and yes they are boring stories BUT BUT BUT WOT IS 'EXCITING IS My Runners high for my daily 10 is all about going for that High. The now need for the NATURAL Drug has me HOOKED. Also the Sunsets really help cause the lavenders n orange n reds on the water and wet sand keep my saying all kinds of nice things to self about getting hooked on Running.
Occasions where in Rock climbing I end up fugging up a toe in a jam where the thin climbing shoe offers no real protection n injur my self and then for a few days I cannot run but wot I do is go bare foot for chill of water in the ocean n walk as fast as possible the 10 but not up and down on bluffs cause I need the cold water to keep foot chill n pain free. Maybe twice a year for a few days max.

Contests? Lesson I learned in life about going 4 winning contests. I loved just loved downhill skiing - Started racing as in just club stuff. Got good and won gold. So I get selected for a ski team to travel as in simi pro and I did more then ok. BUT BUT that means spending a full week in a racing class to shave off a few tenths of a second and more classes to shave off a few tents of a second and WINNING GOLD Major fun but I did NOT win every tyme and 2nd was NOT Fun.
So more classes and soon no tyme to ski with friends nor have fun skiing with friends which is far more then just tyme on slopes.
Bottom line is after a few years of this I tried tried to stop the racing and go back to Rec ski with friends but it was no longer fun cause I needed the max out speed which you cannot do with friends. So it took me a few years to decompress from racing and enjoy regular downhill fun.
WAS Pushed into a dance contest at house of blues. Came in 2nd with a random partner I had never danced with before. It was just NOT any fun to do the contest so NEVER AGAIN. AND as to Stroke out? Trust this - I get checked out and do a bunch of stuff with NO Meds cept Med level Nician - I work hard at no heart issues and NO Stroke issues n U can 2 or live a life towards Jam up Pipes n Crash heart or Stroke out.
Super low resting heart rate and low Blood pressure and no sticky blood platelets. Omega 3 from lots of C-Food

I honestly have that kind o sense of humor that wonders wot FBI wood say about his email. On occasions I have used their contact form to send them messages and they contact right back very fast. Once I sent them a CP report(de no wanna see such) anyway I got a phone call on one of my unlisted biz numbers and I gave them a phone contact to use but nooooooo they had to show me their super powers and call on a very private line.
