Yeah I learned katakana faster than I did the handful of kanji that I know...and am still studying to add more to that list. Kana is easier just because it's not as complex and can spell out words. Japanese is hard when you have to do all this work...

Yeah.. Katakana was easy for me to learn I guess but it's just hard to make sure I don't confuse them. I learned them in middle school and I don't practice much anymore and I'm probably killing my brain cells with my habits so I'm not sure how much longer it'll be around in there :(

To Anonymous I:

On the subject of brainwashing/cult behaviour I have an interest in knowing about it but it does really sicken me to see it when it happens. I have a strong abhorrance to propaganda of any kind and it's these very kinds of radicals who disseminate false promises and techniques in order to destroy what harmony could be achieved by people who gave up such silly ideas. It's something I'm passionate about but begrudgingly give attention to since any kind of large scale anti-agenda (mainly Project Chanology in this case) only feeds them for using the "persecuted religion" card.
