Re-reading that stuff reminds me what a one-off Kimmo was. I doubt we will ever see his like again.

Interesting though that when the 'mods' actually got pissed at him and started insulting him back ("you're behaving like a fucking unreasonable douchebag right now" etc) he calmed down and started being almost normal.

Lot of issues in Kimmo's lil mind, I'll wager.

One of them, RevNick maybe, said that this was quite common. When they tried to be reasonable and calm, he got mad. But when they actually insulted him he either didn't ackowledge it or became more reasonable.

My hope is that he'll come back someday, but the last project of his we discovered was promptly attacked and Kimmo disappeared again without a word. So maybe not.

I also like how in one of the passages, Kimmo whines about all his mods having either deserted him, or been shitlisted for sleeping on the job. Then, this new guy chickenflipper comes along, asks an honest question about the job in his very first message to Kimmo, and is told "Use your common sense, if you even have any in that model of a brain you have". Yep, that's the way to recruit new helpers, Kimbo :)Baffling why they all kept leaving you.

Interesting to me also how he is completely impervious to praise or fawning. Some of the sections where the mods are licking his ass and telling him how great the new features are; they are cringe-worthy to read, but he just blows them off, never even acknowledges it.

Insults bring him back to earth, but basically don't affect him. Praise doesn't affect him. Only indifference to him and his project. I guess that's why the best way to troll him back in the day was to just lurk his site but never post anything. That usually got the all-caps rage bulletins.
