Who is the most famous person that you have personally shared a friendly meal with?

Not an easy question to answer. Back during the Hughes Research lab days. Once a month company wood bring in a guest speaker or even a politician on occasion.
People you have never heard of like Bill Lear. Lear jet is nada compared to many of his inventions. Even a steam powered buss towards the end of his life.
My stint as MCA/Universal VP - Met many a star but avoided a few I really wanted to meet. I still kick myself for not saying hello to Whoopi Goldberg who had her eyes directly at me and I wanted to thank her for something but walked away. I could have met a couple three presidents of US but avoided that and one was a mistrake.
Still have close contact with a few famous music makers which includes Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner invites which I do almost every year which of course includes GF's who have become closer then I have. Dooooon't ask me to name drop.
I met a slew of US Congressman/Senators re lobby work but dooooon't ask for details. I did share with Becky at MC n private. AND the leaders of Pakistan one who is still alive but no longer in charge - 3rd in charge in Israel. Egypt #1 and Most of the high end prince's of Saudi Arabia. Two state dinners with the Shah of Iran shortly before he was kicked out.
Hey dank ya for the memories. Had to squeeze brain. Got close to One of Howard Hughes wives. Never met Hughes himself nor did I once ask his wife at the tyme (last one) a single question about Hughes. Back when I owned a couple of the first places I bought in Carlsbad, Hughes ex, ended up as a neighbor. Small world.
Sold both of those places and that was a huge mistrake looking back. Now and then I watch an old movie she starred in. Hitchcock was alive when I was at Universal but never went up to that house. So was Jack Web who also lived on the Universal lot. Never met or even saw him. AND When I was maybe 6 years old I was forced to meet Lucy. Ice Cream store on Hollywood Bvd.
