Topic: Is Determinism the ultimate philosophical truth?
+Anonymous A — 13.6 years ago #18,033
DETERMINISM: The philosophical doctrine that every event, act, and decision is the inevitable consequence of antecedents, such as genetic and environmental influences, that are independent of the human will; the view that human actions are entirely controlled by previous conditions and events (predecessors), operating under laws of nature, and ruling out the possibility of "free will".
I cannot think or comprehend of a single event, occurrence, or human behaviour or decision that does not comply with this principle. As such, free will is an illusion.
Can anyone offer an example, any example, that contradicts this conclusion?

Free will can overcome predestined outcomes. It is a dangerous but liberating path to take.

And you're a child-sex obsessed nonce, but you don't see everyone here telling you that all the time, do you, you rude and hurtful cock-jockey.

He will now call you mad (and say you're me), and post a little picture. I've found the best way to make him cry (and oh, how he cries!) is to either parrot back to him his stupid shit, or to own his noncey ass with come-backs, something he cannot handle when he attempts to get involved with verbal sparring, and eventually runs back to the safety of his little pictures.
He also bawls like a baby every time someone posts his picture, so just copy it and use it as you wish.
