Walter grew up the son of a nouveau-riche engineer who buys shiny new Cadillacs every week. He grew up in an exclusive, lily-white, gated community that does not allow black people in. He thinks that pushing a cart around in a grocery store parking lot a few hours a month is "heavy, manual labor" and that it makes him "a real working man." He is applying to Ivy League universities, that his rich father will pay 100% for, of course. Then he has the nerve to come here and pontificate and lecture us all on race relations, and what real life is like. Discuss.
